I'm not religious but I just might need to say a prayer...

Hello people of the internet, random blog stalkers and my 10am writing class in college. So begins the journey to cook, cook properly and not f*ck things up. Wait...can I curse? Am I even allowed to curse on a Gordon Ramsay themed cooking blog? I mean, it'd be a bit ironic if I couldn't curse on a Gordon Ramsay themed blog. Also, Chef Ramsay and I have that in common so...when I make videos I'll bleep out the "bad words" like they do on telly. Which honestly, I think sounds funnier. Nothing draws a laugh like a high pitched beep at 1000Hz!

My first duty will be to introduce you to my blog and get you familiar with my plan of attack! I mean, it's a trap...I mean, what have I gotten myself into. See, this is what you get for making gumbo from scratch once, ONCE...and then you think you're hot sh*t. Well, I'm not hot sh*t but my food may just turn out to be sh*t. We will see.

Anyway, I digress.

Welcome to the blog! I will be taking simple to complex recipes as the blog goes on from Chef Ramsay's website and youtube channel (which are on the right side of the home page). I will try to make them every week or so when each assignment is due and post a video or step by step pictures of what my experience making the recipe was like. My videos will include me cooking followed by a "review" by Chef Ramsay himself! Okay, maybe sorta...it'll be close enough.

I hope you enjoy and I'll try not to cut off a finger in the process. That would suck.

I like this picture of Chef Ramsay because when I feel like giving up I'll just come back and look at him silently judging me for my mistakes...I feel like these should go in every office in America instead of those lame, "Hang in there!" posters. I feel like more work would get done. Mostly because people would think staring into the eyes for more than six seconds would affect you like that evil girl in the movie "The Ring" did where she stares at you and you die immediately after.
