A man who needs no introduction these days, whose name is synonymous with undercooked memes, five star dining, Michelin Stars and more fame that any TV personality in any genre,
GORDON F*CKING RAMSAY.
Now, I'm sure you're all thinking the same thing you think about any celebrities, "But, you didn't have a childhood, you were just famous, born famous and born a grown-up, you had no childhood, no challenges, no oddities that happened in your life, you're f*cking perfect!" Or is that just me that thinks that...?
Early Life
Gordon James Ramsay
was born in Johnstone, Renfrewshire, Scotland but raised in Stratford-upon-Avon. Yes, the same place Shakespeare was born. He has three siblings of which his only brother is a recovering herion addict. Thus through that, Ramsay has vowed to help those struggling with whatever it may be in their lives, especially recovering addicts due to his experience with his brother. He even offered a struggling chef on Reddit a job. See, he's a good guy after all. He does yell but I firmly believe he yells when you really truly deserve it becuase you're being an ungrateful, near-sighted, gitty-knobhead-poncy mother f*cker. I actually use those insults more than I do American ones because there's just something about the British insults that when they tell you to go to hell, you'll nod and say thanks. It's truly brilliant.
So to start off, here's a map of England...

Didn't say it was detailed now did I.
But, back to Ramsay...
He and his family moved to many other locations around the United Kingdom due to his father's failing aspirations and ever changing ones. His father was in his words, "an at times violent alcoholic." I can understand how diheartening and truly terrifying that was due to my own father although not an alcoholic, was at times an abusive person. So I find much sympathy for Ramsay and his family about that. My grandfather also had a father who was a raging alcoholic and because of that he hasn't touched a drink a day in his life. He just turned 85 folks, that's the level of "scared shitted-ness" there is about that. So I connect a lot with Ramsay in that sad aspect of his younger life. But at age sixteen Ramsay bought a flat in Banbury, England.

He originally aspired to be a professional footballer, that's soccer for you non-anglophiles or people that live under a rock.

Yup, that's a young Gordon Ramsay when he played for the Rangers in Glasgow, Scotland. Still keepin' the hair game the same I see...
Thrown Knee Leads to Throwing Pans
In 1984,
Ramsay suffered a knee injury, to be specific torn cruciate ligaments, both the anterior and posterier ones (not as in posterier 'rear end', that's just the pre-EMT in me coming out with anatomy knowledge, forgive me).
By age nineteen, he attended classes at North Oxfordshire Technical College to study hotel managment. In the early 1980s, he worked as a commis chef at the Wroxton House Hotel then ran the kitchen and 60-seat dining room at the Wickham Arms, until he and the hotel's owner's wife were discovered at having a "relationship." Saucy stuff...okay, you knew I'd put a pun in here somewhere.
Upon that most likely awkward as hell discovery, he moved to a resutrant called Harvey's in Wandsworth, London, helmed by chef Marco Pierre White. After ten months working there Ramsay left due to berating and violent outbursts from Chef White. I wonder if that's where he got the yelling from? He then worked in the French Alps and then to Paris to work for Guy Savoy for three years.
The Chef Has Arrived!
Upon his arrival
to London in 1993, he was offered the position as head chef at the Three Michelin Starred resturant La Tante Claire in Chelsea. After having Chef Marco Pierre re-entering his life, promising success and then leading to no more success than he had at La Tante Claire, Ramsay opened up his own resturant in 1998 in Chelsea named, Resturant Gordon Ramsay. By 2001 it had Three Michelin Stars. Gordon Ramsay was the the first Scot to have achieved this feat.

Since Resturant Gordon Ramsay has opened he has had 35 more resutrants open. Yes, 36. Three. Six. That's a bloody lot.
His resturants had sixteen Michelin Stars (divided among them) and currently hold nine of those sixteen. That's pretty f*cking incredible. He's also the 21st highest earning celebrity as noted by Forbes in 2015, that's out of any celebrities. Honestly, I read that sentence wrong upon my first reading of it and thought it said he was the 'highest celebrity.' Not gonna lie if I had met Gordon and he said he wanted to smoke certain natural cannabinoid with me, I'd be for it. I mean, come on...smoking that with one of the world's leading chefs whose food is incredible in a state of hightened hunger...sign me up like a free cable plan with HBO and a season 7 of Downton Abbey (you will be missed).
He was also comissioned as Officer of the Order of the British Empire by Queen Elizabeth II in 2006. Basically Gordon Ramsay has been knighted although that's another ranking in that scale. 'So I guess you could say things are getting pretty serious.'
A CHEF'S CHARITY
Ramsay
and his wife Tana set up the Gordon and Tana Ramsay Foundation to raise funds to support Great Ormond Street Children's hospital. He also ran 10 marathons in ten consecutive years (The London Marathon that is) to raise money for the Scottish Spina Bifida Association. He also partakes in many other fundraising events for charities that he and his wife believe in.
So for as much yelling and cursing as he does, he really is a good hearted guy.
Also, here's Gordon Ramsay holding a puppy...
